MARC service from BWI to DC is $6. Pretty sure there are kiosks at the station to purchase tickets. If not, buy one on the train. I have never taken MARC trains so someone else may have better info for tickets, but the ride will be approx. 40 mins assuming there are no delays. Report inappropriate content.

Re: BWI by Amtrack. 16 years ago. The other option to consider is the B30 Metrobus connection to/from the Greenbelt Metro station, which runs seven days a week and leaves both BWI and Greenbelt reliably on schedule, all for $3.10 each way (plus the cost of your Metro connection).
You can catch trains at BWI Rail Station, which is about a 5 min (free) shuttle bus ride from the airport terminals. The local commuter trains, MARC have fixed fares which are good for any train and you can get tickets from machines at the station. You'd can look at the schedules for the MARC Penn Line to see if the timings seem to work for you:

1 year ago. Yes, there's a big easy parking deck directly adjacent to the Amtrak/MARC station, it was $9 a day, overnights fine, easy in easy out. I've used it to ride Amtrak instead of parking near downtown Baltimore Penn Station. Being that BWI is right off 95/195/295 its even easier than getting to Penn.
