However time pressures sometimes means it’s easier to see the sort of prices on offer on an aggregator site rather than traveling through each supplier individually. I’ve learned a lesson though.    I got a mid-sized car (monte carlo SS) for what ended up being about $30 bucks less than it would have cost me using the coupons from my entertainment book. Just know this, all the usually taxes apply and they do charge a fee ( paid 41.25 in taxes and fees).

   Hi! We are going to rent a car for two days to go from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon.. Reviewing the prices I see that when making the reservation directly in Avis it comes out for 397 dollars: 218 of the car, 89 of LDW and ALI (insurance) and 80 of taxes, while in Priceline for the same car for the same date it gives a total price of 203, indicates that this includes taxes and the two insurances.

   The offers where the company was not named seemed cheap, but I could see by reading the details that the unnamed rental car company was off the airport property and that generally includes only the shoddiest off the shoddy rental car companies. I would consider Priceline for a big discount, but not just to save a few bucks.

   They are offering additional Total Coverage for $16 a day that includes 0% deductible, medical expenses, and etc on their site. However Priceline has the same car at Mex Rent A Car at 1/3 of the price. Although Priceline offers their insurance, I read to not go with a 3rd party policy because it does not cover Mexico.
