I've been once before and rented thru Conn's Ireland Car Rental (they include full insurance) for 1 week, it was about $550 I think in 2019. This time I need a car for 13 days. With insurance (the only way Conns does it) the cost was Є1645.

Most CC companies will email a letter (It must specifically state coverage IN Ireland ). Simply print out a copy to present at the counter.

3. Re: Car rental insurance coverage - in Ireland. 2 years ago. Liability coverage is required by Irish law -- and therefore, is INCLUDED on any rental -- even if you 'Waive' offered insurances. Just because a credit card offers coverage in Ireland, it does NOT mean that every car rental company ACCEPTS that coverage.
