Hello -. We have Amtrak tickets to Glenwood later this summer, and the train is scheduled to arrive at 1:46 p.m. I knew there was an Enterprise location nearby, and my intention was to secure a car there. I'd already been looking at rates, etc., at the time I booked our train tickets.

Amtrak dropped its AAA discount a few years ago. Any travel agent can book Amtrak, including AAA, but almost all travel agents are totally clueless about it. You are much better off calling Amtrak reservations at 800-USA-RAIL if you don't want to use the website.

Here are your options: 1) Enterprise will pick you up from the train station and take you to their office to arrange the rental.

Keep in mind that it would be hard for a rental car company in that part of the state to staff the hours and provide the same level of service as you are accustomed to finding in larger cities and airports.
Cold cereal and coffee cakes are available. You have the option to get a breakfast box to go and eat in your cabin. Upon arriving at the Sanford FL station, the auto offload process begins; while orderly and fairly efficient, it takes a good 1.5 hours to get all the cars off the train.
