You don't need every small stop to do this. You say you want to know how long it will take between stops. You don't need to plot the whole route at the same time to do this. Stick with Google. In my opinion it is the most intuitive route-planning software. And provides excellent ancillary links to a lot of information.

6. Re: Pacific Highway 1 - Google maps. 5 years ago. You can easily add waypoints to force Google maps to take the route you want, although you can only add so many, (ten I believe). Anyway you can type in the city or you can do a map search so you just put the X on Highway one and hit save.
As far as I can tell, Waze, Google, Mapquest, and many others have eliminated the ability to map driving directions using the shortest driving miles rather than driving time. Since, I never drive fast and hate patronizing interstates as much as root canal surgery, is there any free way to determine the shortest driving miles for a roadtrip?
9 years ago. I am mapping out a massive USA Road Trip and had my route drive times on the website: roadtrippers.com. A couple times seems 'long' to me so I went to google maps & all times were significantly shorter (yippee!). Went to mapquest.com & times were similar to Google Maps BU each leg of trip was 15-30 minutes longer on mapquest.
8. Re: Walking in New York - route planner advise please! 11 years ago. Walking in NY is good but you can walk for hours and never see much. Walking between Avenues will take 2 or 3 times longer than walking between Streets. Times Square is good but there is so much more to see in lower Manhattan.
MapQuest is turning pink and putting their money where their routes are with Maps for Mammos.
