There are a lot of positive reviews about about Athens Car Rental. It seems that most people here on the forum choose Athens Car Rental and don't regret it. Here is what I don't understand: - their prices are very reasonable but not the cheapest - they don't offer FDW (no deductible) coverage for rentals shorter than 7 days, unlike other companies

Instead of going through an anonymous online broker we found a super local family owned company & cannot fault them for service & price.
Agree with #1. ACR is a good local company with many excellent recommendations. It's also a company that allows you to take their car to the islands without extra fee.. Pick up and drop off is at the airport which makes it very easy as you are immediately on the highway to either Meteora or Lefkada.
