I like the notion that $5,000 is your breakpoint over whether you should get trip insurance or not. Medical and evacuation coverage is always a must for me for international trips as well but I think of that in a separate category from trip cancellation insurance. Thanks for posting that link. Buying thru the broker wins every time.
