Jul 2015 • Friends. We rode the Katy Trail this weekend. On Saturday we rode from St. Charles to Defiance (about 40 miles round trip), and Sunday from Defiance to Augusta (about 20 miles round trip). The trail is really beautiful, most of it shaded, some open. You can see the Missouri River on the side for awhile.

Reviewed July 29, 2014. We used the Katy Trail Bike Rental shuttle service to transport us from St Charles back to our car in Clinton, MO after riding the Katy Trail. They were also kind enough to rescue my wife when she was unable to complete the final leg of our trip. We'll certainly use them again when riding the Katy Trail.
How do we get first to point A so we can ride back to point B where our car will be parked. Answer... Katy Bike Rental shuttle service! Our plan was to start our ride in Augusta and ride back to St. Charles. A week prior to our trip we e-mailed Katy Bike Rentals about shuttle service arrangement. Plans were coordinated all via e-mail and text.

A Solid Experience. Review of Katy Bike Rental, Inc. Reviewed May 27, 2023. We were picked up in St. Charles and shuttled to Clinton, MO. The not so good: The van is a bit rough. The air kept cutting out and hauling a trailer makes it swerve alot. The good: $220 for two people with bikes and gear when others wanted $400 is a good deal.
