Perth, Australia. 1 post. 1. Re: Wyndham fraud/scam. 5 years ago. I have been a Wyndham member (sucker) since 2006. Thirteen years ago I parted with AU$26,000 to purchase the 9,000 annual credits and in addition pay $76.61 each and every month as a 'levie'. In effect another $1,000 per year.
Here is my experience: WARNING: Vio.com are scammers. In addition to stealing your money via fraudulent travel practices, they will spend a huge amount of time and effort trying to remove legitimate reviews from this and other sites, in order to hide their fraudulent behavior. I booked a room with them in Cancun.

Plus you can cancel up to 15 days and still get your points back. We paid around $3000.00USD for 400,000 points, and got 1 week Nashville, 1 week Williamsburg, 6 nts Pagosa Springs, 6 nts Flagstaff and 5 nts Vegas. So we really did ok ! Plus we attended every meeting at each resort and took the free gift BUT bought Nothing!!

Went to cancel the subscription in time but in the web it said I didn’t have a prime account so I left it. After 30 days they charged me 65€ for a years Prime.
2. Re: TripAdvisor Plus is a Scam. 2 years ago. As soon as Tripadvisor Plus launched in the US, I concluded that it was a very poor value indeed. To me it looked like a rather desperate way for TA o bring in revenue. In this cae, however, I think that the main issue is outside the control of TA and TA Plus.
