But it doesn't provide for the most reliable connection because it's normal for power outages to happen often in PR, and this can (and often will) cause internet signals to go as well.

Re: cell service. 10 years ago. VZ doesn't actually operate the cell system in PR anymore. They sold it to América Móvil in 2007 who rebranded wireless service as Claro.
