The closest entrance is the Moose Wilson road. It is narrow, winding and only a short part is paved. It is fun to drive it and look for wildlife but can take 45 minutes to get to Moose in GTNP. If you go early then going thru Jackson, up by airport and to GTNP can be pretty quick.

Re: Entrance into Grand Teton from Jackson. 2 years ago. Save. We were just there June 15-21st it wasn't bad at all. We did the Jenny lakeboat ride and hiked after that one day and was there around 7:30-8 am had to wait for a couple boats. Went another day (around 10) to start a different hike and the line was long!
