Like Teri said, Alamo has a location near Ka'anapali, along with Enterprise, Avis, Budget... That Kapalua Airport (JHM) location has limited hours on weekends (9AM-1PM) and shorter M-F hours compared to OGG. Pre-Covid, we needed to return our Alamo rental on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to return it at the Sheraton Black Rock.
1 year ago. Renting a car close to the train station is okay, as long as you understand the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), which will surround you on your way out of the city and especially when you return the car. Any entry into the Limited Zone, will automatically produce a hefty financial penalty.

The garage is not dimly lit and it is your responsibility to not drive off without inspecting. Upon noticing damage you should have taken it back immediately.
