Priceline is name your own price. Hotwire,you put in your dates and car class and they give you a price per day. Both sides are opaque so you only find out the car company after you pay. Answer 1 of 10: We never used priceline, I have a reservation with Dollar for 10 days for $413 for a compact. Looking at other prices, it's not awful, but it's higher than previous years (like everything else!).
