2. Re: Using giftcards. Hi msgelfin, Yes you can buy a visa gift card from a financial institution in U.S. and it can be used in Turkey at those retailers that accept "Visa Debit Cards". For example Migros stores accept debit cards in Turkey. Just make sure that your gift card is good for international transactions and is not valid only in US.
not really sure what's the purpose of it. i don't know canadian gift cards, but the cards that are sold in the us can only be used in the us. their terms and consitions specifically state so. so be sure to read the fine print. in any case, i'd recommend to have multiple back-up credit cards and atm's in case your plan doesn't work.
Hi Amber, We need a valid credit card to reserve a room. The name on the card must match the photo identification at check in.
