9 years ago. I am mapping out a massive USA Road Trip and had my route drive times on the website: roadtrippers.com. A couple times seems 'long' to me so I went to google maps & all times were significantly shorter (yippee!). Went to mapquest.com & times were similar to Google Maps BU each leg of trip was 15-30 minutes longer on mapquest.

Therefore the drive time will vary based on time of day (i.e. commute traffic vs. off hours), any accidents, etc. We live close to Silicon Valley and no one uses MapQuest here anymore.

Hi. We've just returned from our holiday where we drove from San Francisco to Yosemite to Monterey down Highway 1 to Valencia, on to san Diego and then to Anaheim.I used Google maps and apart from Yosemite to Monterey all seemed to work fine (it could have been us missing a turn that messed up that one rather than dodgy directions!)
