Dec 2018 • Friends. To reach Red Pass you'll have to take the one-way road from near Beatty, NV. For the first few miles, the road is fairly well maintained gravel, but as you climb to and from Red Pass, it can be rough at times as you go around the switchbacks. We encountered big rocks in the road and deep potholes.
