    I think Priceline has gotten away from their original sales model. They used to mainly offer blind bidding for potential steep discounts. When I looked at Priceline recently for a car rental their prices were comparable to booking through any other third party or booking direct and most of the listings named the rental car company.

Everytime when I read here in the forum about the highrising prices for rental cars I look it up at the german website "billiger-mietwagen,de", and everytime I can see that there the prices are near to normal.

My price for a minivan through DHCR (Enterprise) with all taxes is $302.00 for the week.
