2. Re: One way car rental between US and Canada. Feb 9, 2024, 1:29 PM. You can get some long distance one ways, like LAX to YYC, but can’t recall ever seeing SLC to YYC. You can get Kalispell, MT (FCA) to YYC, (with Dollar) so you could look at two one ways, but will be relatively costly just as long distance cross border one ways are.
That will be a very difficult one-way rental. Are those prices the one-way fee you found? Other things to watch for on one-ways are mileage charges (versus unlimited), higher daily rates plus drop fees. I would be very surprised if either the Hertz and Avis charges were accurate. One way rentals are impossible to expensive.

I think one person found a one way with a fee of $1500. Someone else dropped a car in Lethbridge and spent $200 on a taxi across the border....
