You'll need one extra day to fly home, probably by flying from Quebec with a change of planes in Montreal or Toronto. If you want to add Ottawa, you'll need more days.

From Montreal, there are companies that do 1 day tours to Ottawa, and also 1 day tours to Quebec City (separately). You can then go directly from Montreal to Boston.
