You can join a rental cars gold club or executive club or whatever and then usually skip the lines. Last time I rented a car (not denver) I was 2nd in line. By the time I go the car there were 25 people lined up. My review would have been great, and everyone else would have said the line was forever.

I stick with Avis or Hertz and rarely would go beyond. Also, rental cars tend to be very expensive at DEN and airport fees are also high. You can oftentimes save by taking a taxi, Uber or shuttle to Quebec Street (old airport area) and hitting one of the rental car companies there (like Avis). Good luck. 3.
18 reviews. 10 helpful votes. Denver Car Rental- Offsite from the airport? 10 years ago. I need to rent a car for two weeks this summer and the cheapest airport rental is $1200 for a mid-size car. I can get a standard at some of the rental places offsite for $600 for the same time period.
3. Re: Top Denver car rental company at airport. Enterprise, National, and Alamo are all the same company. As are Hertz, Thrifty, and Dollar. And Avis and Budget are the same company. 4. Re: Top Denver car rental company at airport. We prefer Alamo.
