Hertz Dollar Thrifty gas receipt scam. 6 years ago. Hertz owns Dollar and Thrifty. It's been almost two years since I used them. The reason for the boycott is their gas receipt policy. They had just implemented it when this hapoened. None of my paperwork or signage was up in the pick up or return locations.
We thought about it one minute and proceeded to talk to the enterprise counter. We booked for a much better rate and a fantastically better car and walked back to the Hertz counter asking for a refund. They could NOT process as they did not have the authority. Ridiculous from beginning to END we will absolutely NEVER book with any Hertz again.
