According to my employer and a new co-worker, women should keep their shoulders, knees, and cleavage covered to be respectful to local mores. Pants and below-the-knee skirts and dresses are fine.

Though I've been to New Orleans several times, I've never visited Galatoire's and plan on dining there on a Friday or Satrday night in October. I know that jackets are required for men after five.
