   Mindy, I've got a full size rental car booked with Alamo for Nascar Week, dates March 2- 8. The rates go up and down as You know, but I am now paying $140.82 (out the door). I started a topic about Alamo lowering prices (can't guarantee they are lower at this moment) but they were last night, and posted a $40 coupon.

However time pressures sometimes means it’s easier to see the sort of prices on offer on an aggregator site rather than traveling through each supplier individually. I’ve learned a lesson though.    They are offering additional Total Coverage for $16 a day that includes 0% deductible, medical expenses, and etc on their site. However Priceline has the same car at Mex Rent A Car at 1/3 of the price. Although Priceline offers their insurance, I read to not go with a 3rd party policy because it does not cover Mexico.

   Answered: When using Priceline or Hotwire or the like, it says rental car returns have to go back to the airport. Is this accurate? So if I want to rent a car at the airport, then return it on the Strip, do I have to do that through the rental company?
