Downtown Bozeman centers around Main Street going about a block North and a block South. It is full of shops, stores and restaurants. I’m staying at a hotel not far off the main drag and it is in easy walking distance. I visited several shops, went to one of the restaurants and scoped out places to eat for the rest of my visit.
Aug 2023 • Couples. Spend two days in Bozeman (at least) to give yourself time to hit Main Street and take in as many shops and bars and restaurants as you can. The Main Street is awesome but go down some side streets as well. Also, get out for some nearby hikes like Drinking Horse and the “M”.
First time in southwest Montana and we were looking at potential retirement options. Visited several cities from Helena to livingston and by far enjoyed Bozeman the most. The biggest factor was downtown Bozeman. Small city feel with a lot going on. Friendly and quality shops and eateries.
