On a different note, I rented a Hertz for 3 weeks, had an issue and tried numerous ways to contact Hertz. Emails, Facebook, direct to rental/return locations, even phone (apart from the emergency number). Now a month later and STILL waiting to hear from Hertz. Hertz customer service is non-existent in Europe.

Beware when renting from Hertz/Thrifty in Germany. At the counter in the Frankfurt airport they told me I have to buy insurance. I said that I don't because my credit card covers it. After some back-and-forth the Hertz employee said it is the law and I should just dispute it when I get home because he is not renting me a car without it. The ...

If not contact them to be sure that the reservation has been accepted. If you only made it today, wait until tomorrow and check again.

Six of us in a family group travelled from Australia. We travelled in the shuttle from LAX to the site to collect the car.
