2. Re: Cosmopolitan - booking through AmEx Fine Hotels & Resorts. Oh right, I forgot to mention the $200 statement credit for the hotels! I actually already got over $500 in credits since I got the card - this FHR one, the $200 airline incidentals credit, the $50 for Saks, a couple of digital credits, $50 for Uber.
Hoping to do it again in February between Bellagio and Nomad and maybe Delano. Going to prebook enough nights before December 17th to take advantage of the $150 off $800 FHR offer and use next year's $200 FHR credit for the remaining nights. 35. Is the only platinum amex card that provides these upgrades/etc., the "personal" platinum card that cost $450? Or can you get the same perks off the no-annual fee business platinum card? If you can get the same perks off the business plat card, any weblinks or phone numbers where it can be explained and application filled out? Thanks!!
1. Re: Amex Fine hotels and resorts. Yes, I have used them to book both the Four Seasons and the Venetian in Vegas. Both hotels were fully booked when I checked in (fight weekends), so I didn't get the upgrade. These were probably the only times that I didn't receive the upgrade, but it's not guaranteed anyhow.
Room Rate is $215.00/night and there is an Amex Exclusive Offer which is a Complimentary Night Stay. Includes the normal Amex Platinum benefits of complimentary upgrade (if available), continental breakfast for two daily, 1 complimentary lunch for two, and 4:00 p.m. checkout. So all-in-all, not bad. Three nights for the price of two.
