Thrifty definitely receives the worst reviews of any Boston car rental company that I have had the pleasure of reading. The big knock on Thrifty is it's shuttle bus seems to take forever to get passengers from the airport to the rental lot in Revere. That, and the Customer Service is pitiful most of the time. You have 2 options.
45 minute wait for a car at 1am after 24 hours of flights.Told me liability insurance is mandatory which Thrifty central reservations told me afterwards is not. They would not give me a car unless I payed extra for th more is optional insurance. I hate you Thrifty. Bad company, bad service. Never again. I'll even pay to avoid them.
