Before being acquired by parent company CVS Health in 2008, it was a chain of over 500 stores, located primarily on the West Coast of the United States.
Just for Feet – bankrupt in 1999, acquired by Footstar, final stores closed in 2004. MC Sports – filed for bankruptcy and closed in 2017. Modell's Sporting Goods – first store opened in 1889. On March 11, 2020, the company filed for bankruptcy, and announced it would close all 115 stores.
Gray Drug was an American drugstore chain in Cleveland, Ohio. The chain began in 1912 [2] and grew to 46 stores by 1946 and over 100 by the 1970s.
