   Looking to squeeze another trip in April using our IKON pass. Either the 2md or 3rd week in April. We have never went skiing in Colorado. Options are Aspen, Steamboat, Copper Mountain, Winter Park, Eldora, and Arapahoe Basin. What we are looking for: We are intermediate skiier's -and wife leans more towards nice easy greens, me, mid blues.

   My personal preference especially for non skiing activities for kids is to go to an actual town so my answer would be Steamboat. There is an ice rink with bumper tubes, a community fitness facility with pools and hot spring, library with story time, Tread of the Pioneers Museum which has kids activities, bowling, movie theater, plus community activities and more.

   We were Ikon pass holders and have skied both. Big Sky has more terrain and better scenery, but it is expensive and there isn’t much nightlife or a good variety of restaurants. Although Copper doesn’t offer that either, you would need to go to Frisco or Breck for more options.

   12. Re: Skiing Chamonix with IKON pass. 1 year ago. I am here now. We got the upgrade to the Mont Blanc unlimited pass and it was maybe 60 euro for my 7 days. I have full ikon pass. Well worth it. Les Houches was great and Courmayor was wonderful f and those are two that are extra.

   Copper is actually fun early season and will have probably the most variety of terrain open at that time. Plus they have lots of fast lifts that can help spread out the crowds. Since they joined the Ikon pass, I found myself skiing there early and late season quite a few times. Whatever you do, make sure everything is refundable.
