7 years ago. "Most car rental at Orlando airport have bad reviews". Not true, although every rental company has at least one or two disgruntled customers. Avis, Hertz and Alamo have good reputations. I have used Thrifty with no problems. However, you MUST join and use the company's loyalty program.
Dollar and LM Car rental are also at the airport/in the terminal and usually have lower prices and never have long lines. We usually rent with LM every year we go to Orlando, but this year Dollar had a great rate of $159/7days (all taxes included) for an intermediate car.
The best advice I can give you we have been renting properties for many years is if you are staying in a rental property then a rental car is the best way to go. It’s unlikely your community will be close to any amenities so popping to a supermarket or restaurant you will need transport
