Happy Valley Racecourse. The Happy Valley Racecourse is one of the two racecourses for horse racing and is a tourist attraction in Hong Kong. It is located in Happy Valley on Hong Kong Island, surrounded by Wong Nai Chung Road and Morrison Hill Road. The capacity of the venue is 55,000.
The horse racing season begins in September but fixtures for the 2024/25 season won't be announced until July. The current (2023/24) season began on Sunday 10th September at Sha Tin followed by Happy Valley on Wednesday 13th September with races following on each subsequent Sunday at Sha Tin and Wednesday at Happy Valley for the rest of September and October.
