Any fare that shows up on both Google Flights and ITA are the same as they use the same search engines. Neither is truly live fares. Also, discounted fares aren't always picked up by either site.
Google Flights showed me a good itinerary. I went to Air Canada's site, but couldn't find those specific flights (or price). Went back to Google Flights, clicked "Book with Air Canada", and presto, those flights were loaded up on Air Canada's site, ready to book. And I did, directly with the airline.
