   Re: ID needed for Universal Studios? Welcome to forum posting 3barebares, In the U.S., and ID is considered a drivers license. If you have that, it can be used at Universal if they even need it. Your 11 year old is not an adult, and should not have to show anything, they are with you.

   I'm sure I have been asked for ID at Universal, even if it's when my ticket plays up at ticket booth. My wife doesn't carry ID and she has always gained entry to the parks, there may have been the odd time when I showed my ID (Surname the same) and we talked our way into a park. I would recommend carrying some sort of photo ID with you.
