The offers where the company was not named seemed cheap, but I could see by reading the details that the unnamed rental car company was off the airport property and that generally includes only the shoddiest off the shoddy rental car companies. I would consider Priceline for a big discount, but not just to save a few bucks.

3 years ago. Kirk, you did not rent a car from Priceline, you rented from a rental company and had Priceline book it. That means you are held to the terms you agreed to with both companies. You are not entitled automatically to a refund because you had personal things go wrong.

Many people focus on the daily rental rate without reviewing the total cost of the rental. Taxes and fees can sometimes double the cost of the rental. I booked 3 days car rental through Priceline. Priceline charge me$261 ($86 for each day)for only reservation a car, not for car rental! Never heard a third party can charge you reservation fee. They call it prepayment for car rental at booking time which misleading you. Pretty high profit! Reply.
