And rental companies don’t keep rental cars for 1-2 hours after the booked pickup time unless they state that in their T&Cs. So making sure the rental location is open 1-2hrs after the time you booked to pick up might lead to disappointment if you also expect your car to be waiting for you when you are late. Costco is under 800 for the 2 weeks. Least expensive out there. It comes out to 55/day. Nowadays you really not going to find it for less. You're a Costco member so book with them and keep an eye on prices. You can call Costco and cancel your reservation and book the lower price. No change or cancel fees.

In all my rental cases, there is a fee for the gasoline and a refueling fee on top of that. With the majors (which Fox is not) that refueling fees can be $15-$20. Gasoline is not calculated by market rates, they are always largely above market. So yes, it's a double penalty for not refueling on your own, which you could have done.
Lowest price is not always the best. I would avoid Fox, no matter what price they have,very bad reviews. I usually use Alamo, or Budget. If you are a member of costco, check their rates. Alamo is nice because they have kiosks to use, and you get to pick your car from a row in the catagory you chose.
