Lebara mobile might seem attractive, but they are a nightmare to deal with - especially if you're travelling from overseas into the UK. I bought a Lebara SIM because I had used Lebara in Spain, and it was very easy. But, in the UK, it chewed up all my credit in just a few days.
If you have a friend or family member using a Lebara SIM, calls to them only cost 0.09€ per minute. Otherwise calls to French phones (mobile or land line) are .15€ per minute, SMS messages are 0.10€.
