Can anyone recommend some good overnight parking garages downtown? We are staying 13 nights and the hotel charges $27 a night for parking. I found the online tool that shows all the lots, what they charge and if they are overnight but it appears there are quite a few. I found some in the $14-16 max daily rate which would be ok for us.
A nice covered parking garage is the Cultural Center Complex Garage Parking garage, 65 W 12th Ave. It's immediately adjacent to the Denver Art Museum and a block away from the Capitol. Rates are VERY reasonable compared to most places. The entrance signage isn’t so good, so look carefully.

Do you mean the Federal Reserve Bank at 1020 16th St? That's about eight blocks from the capital building. Easy walk. There is also the free bus that runs up and down 16th St. The capital building is about two blocks from the south east end of 16th St. Parking downtown is mostly paid. However, with Downtown Denver's no overnight parking situation, this is really not an option. I'm coming for about 5 days and staying at a hotel right on 16th Street (comped). The hotel charges $24 per night for parking, which I have absolutely no interest in paying.
That's actually a pretty normal (cheap actually) parking rate for any major city downtown hotel. But you also have no reason to have a car downtown. Just take light rail and Uber or Lyft to get to the Curtis (great choice). Pickup your rental downtown; in all likelihood, you can return it to the airport with no additional fee.
