I Read some where to call the rental office in the airport and tell them that you were looking for a car with unlimited mileage. So I tried that. I got a great rate from National with unlimited mileage. Its over $100 less than I had before thru my entertainment book. I would try that and also try the Costco rates and the entertainment book rates.

Be wary of taking a rental well outside of the state you rented it in. There is usually a steep price hike when they know it's for a road trip outside of the state (and bordering states) you rented it in. "Unlimited Miles" are usually void in this scenario, as "Unlimited Miles" only apply to the state in which you rent in (and bordering states with most agencies).
With taxes and fees it averages to $24/day plus I'll get a few dollars cash back. The car has unlimited miles so no worries there. It was a combination of ebates and bidding ridiculously low on Priceline. The kicker was, I told our friends who are also going about our rate and they booked a better car at $11/day. Oh well.
I booked with Enterprise over the summer. Their website said, "160 a week for unlimited miles", but when I got into the office to pick up the car, they said, "the unlimited miles only applies to your state and adjacent states" so the rental car ended up being $500 dollars instead of $160 for an economy car with real unlimited miles (anywhere in ...

When I was planning this trip a year ago, prices were half what they are now for rental cars. This is for summer 2021. Pick up in Jackson, WY and drop off in Great Falls, MT. It was around $500-700 a year ago, now it's more like $1200.
