Re: Easy question on compass card and daypass. You buy a Compass card ( it’s a hard plastic card similar in size to a credit card) Cost is $6. You then put “stored value” ie money on the card. Usually something like $20. When you ride transit you tap the card and fare cost is deducted from your stored value.
