Myself and the the wife are flying back into LAX for another weeks vacation on the 2nd June and looking to rent a convertible Mustang/Camaro. I was just wondering does anyone have any insight which rental company has the best selection of convertibles at LAX? (e.g. Alamo, Budget, Hertz etc)
1 helpful vote. 4. Re: Hertz Convertible (Group U, STAR) fleet - Mustang? 8 years ago. Group U is Camaro and Group W (usually a little more expensive) is the Mustang, so I'd say the chance of getting a Camaro is much more likely. Group W is more often "unavailable for booking" or "sold out" even at airport locations.
Answer 1 of 2: I've got a Class U Convertible booked for April. I wanted to book the Mustang 'FUN' but couldn't as they don't allow a one way rental (I'm picking up in LAX, dropping off in San Fran).
Can you share the Avis number you're calling? I tried 800-633-3469 which I got from the website, and 800-331-1212 which I got from a local branch.
Has anyone rented a "Chrysler 200 or similar" convertible from Hertz and can confirm if it seats 2 or 4 passengers? I'm wanting to rent a convertible for 4 passengers from a location near Hollywood - preferably the Lowes on Highland location. Hertz is saying that the Chrystler 200 is available at this location, and it seats 2, but I'm not sure ...
