Re: Credit Card - PIN number. MasterCard and Visa are widely accepted, Amex less so. You will normally need PIN at ticket machines, etc, unless you use contactless (and the transaction is small enough). When paying at manned points of sale, you can usually use a card without PIN*, but if your card does have PIN, you will need to enter it.
