   Hello, I gave shopped car rental places, and have determined that Alamo and enterprise offer the lowest rates (and I mean a difference of nearly double!) That said, I am looking for input as far as what the better company is, either from personal experience or from the experience of your friends/family, etc. Alamo or Enterprise, which is better?

One is Alamo with Costco, a Nissan Versa or similar. The other is Enterprise with Expedia, a Dodge Challenger. I think this might be a bit of a gas guzzler.

   I've used Avis in the past- small satellite office and great vehicle and customer service. Used Enterprise MANY times and was my top pick- also a smallish satellite office- and the last 2 rentals have been from Budget. Great experience once, 2nd time, not so much BUT it was dealing with the big airport office at night.
