I frequently use Dollar and $350 is the credit card hold for deposit and is taken off my card within a few days of the return.

   Visa also releases coupon codes for free upgrades, a free weekend day, or $$$ off weekly rates if you're renting for 5 days or more. Of course, these are good when you pay for the rental with a Visa card. I think MasterCard also has similar codes available. You can always mix coupon codes and contract ID's up too if you want.
