In mainland China, mobile phone numbers have eleven digits in the format 1xx-XXXX-XXXX (except for 140–144, which are 13-digit IoT numbers), in which the first three digits (13x to 19x) designate the mobile phone service provider. Before GSM, mobile phones had 6-digit (later upgraded to 7-digit) numbers starting with nine.
For example, for a number in Costa Rica they would write (506) 2222-2222 instead of +506 2222-2222. On the other hand, Guatemala does have the custom of using the + sign. It is quite common for Central American businesses to write the whole phone number, including the country code in parentheses, on business cards, signs, stationery, etc.

The presentation of a telephone number with the plus sign indicates that the number should be dialed with an international calling prefix, in place of the plus sign. The number is presented starting the country calling code. This is called the globalized format of an E.164 number, and is defined in the Internet Engineering Task Force RFC 2806. [6]
Answer 1 of 3: Hello, I will bring my small drone. Guilin and some parts of Zhangjijae are allowed to fly zones but, i have read that i may need a chinese local phone number before i can fly.
I do not follow it, but I glanced at the phone bills, educated guess about US$0.25-$0.75 for a 5-10, 20 minutes call. When we deal with complicated China production issues, not unusual to have many 1-2 hours phone calls, they cost just a few dollars, like $2 or $3 or $5. Often it is much easier to just pick up the iPhone and call China.
