The way I have done it:: Alamo has "Skip the counter option". Become a loyalty member with Alamo. Rent through Costco. Take the Costco/Alamo confirmation #, go to the Alamo site using your loyalty number. Look up your reservation with the # . When you checkin 48 hour or more hours before pickup you can chose the Skip.

In the last year or two there are no codes on the Costco booking site anymore. My 2012 reservation had codes an coupons on it when I printed it but my reservation out after logging in. The one from last September does not. The BCD and coupon columns are gone now. My Alamo paperwork only says Costco offer 09 on it.
