Well, I'm sad to report that the Gatlinburg Pinball Museum has been changed for the worse. Before it was a pay one price, play all day setup with a TON of pins and many classic arcades. Now it is called the Gatlinburg Arcade. Still has some great pins, but all the classic arcades are gone or unplugged. Everything is now $1.00 per play. Ugh.
It is a little easier with a shorter lane, but the string pin-setting mechanism eliminates the ricochet effect that might get you a few more pins. The setup at Pins Mechanical is simple, straightforward, and definitely works with a crowd that is likely to drink a little. I think it's great that the establishment switches to 18 and over at 8pm.
