I used tolls and paid as I went without a problem, if you do use it the charges are $2-95 for each day of your rental up to a maximum of $14-75 plus all incurred tolls. Hertz place a $300 hold against your credit card whilst you have the vehicle.
We went from MCO to Universal and then down to Disney World and did some shopping at Publix and Whole Foods. The total tolls was less than $10 for the entire trip. Just download the Visitor Toll Pass app, pick up the placard from the machine, and enter the rental's license plate before leaving the airport, easy peasy! Edited: 1:26 pm, July 19, 2024
5 years ago. It depends on the rental agency. Some you have to "opt in" to the program, some like Alamo bill you a $4 fee only on the days you use the electronic Sunpass Lanes. I used their program in California, and it worked as advertised. I received a bill plus the admin fee about three weeks later. Most of the toll roads in Orlando take cash.
If you use PlatePass®, you will be charged a $4.95 service fee for each day of the rental including any days on which PlatePass® is not used, up to a maximum of $24.75 per rental, plus incurred tolls at the Toll Authority's cash toll rate or highest undiscounted toll rate. 10. Hertz have rebooked both times on lower price with no real issue . Hire started at just over £600 for 17 days , now a smidge over £500 for Nissan rogue range .
