We just booked our trip to Hawaii through Costco after talking to a few other travel agents. Costco gave us a similar package to the others (a local, independent travel agency and Liberty Travel) and the Costco travel agency offered more 'extras' and was about $2,000 less than the others. We booked our trip after our 3rd call to Costco.
Hoping to get some advice on packages offered. Costco is offering each of the following packages for roughly the same price: 3 nights in a Deluxe Garden Bungalow with Pool at Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa, 4 nights in a One-Bedroom Overwater Superior Lagoon-View Villa at St. Regis Bora Bora Resort.
Haven't used them, but have heard from several people who got great deals with Costco for resorts in Fiji from the US. Even included an extra tour/activity in their package at a substantial saving. Would compare prices booking with the resort, Costco, travel companies, for the best deal. Have a wonderful honeymoon whichever country you decide ...
Not sure if this is a review of the resort, or rather a review of how Costco Travel misled us into believing that 1500 Resort Credits was an added value to this vacation package. We have purchased trips from Costco Travel before and were offered excursions, golf, and spa services at no extra charge.
