17 years ago. COSTCO- keep checking each day to see if the price goes down. We got a full size SUV, Chevy Envoy for $190 for 10 days, that's $19 a day and everywhere else I've checked rents them out for $65-75 a day. I've been checking for the past month and booked last week, 2 weeks before our trip.
That rate can be $9.00 - $13.00 extra per day. The rentals are also calculated on 24 hours. Say pick-up on Friday at 9:00 am and drop-off on Saturday at 12:00 noon, it is considered a TWO-DAY rental with all the associated taxes and fees. Again, in the FAQ's.

17 years ago. I just used Priceline to rent a car for my March trip. The prices on Expedia, Travelocity and the individual rental sites were running about $255 for seven days. I named my own price, and ended up with a rental for seven days for $150. IMO, there's no reason not to use Priceline for rental cars.
