   Guess I'm going just in time. Got a rental May 25th from Dollar at Excal. Little bit more than other locations but its worth the convenience than having to shuttle/taxi to the airport location. Hopefully the service won't be lacking if they are leaving May 31st. Report inappropriate content.

   11 years ago. Most of the car rental desks are Hertz which is expensive. Dollar is cheaper, they used to have a desk at the Bellagio, but they now moved it to TI. When we rented from Dollar on the strip a few years ago, we had no problems.

   31,600 posts. 4. Re: Car rental locations on strip. 14 years ago. Check Hertz (most of the Hertz hotels use them), Dollar ( the MGM/ Mirage property use them), Avis. Thrifty doesn't have a hotel desk and I am not sure Alamo does. Then go with whichever one is cheapest.
